My hole is done. My kitchen cabinets are up (except for one) and the electrician is coming this week to put up the microwave. Then, my beatuiful kitchen will finally be a reality with all of the space and extras I wanted.
But now my problem is Marty. The guy who wrecked my hole...and almost caused my building to burn down. I don't want to sue him--but if he does not give me $250 more dollars--in fact everything I gave him I may have to.
Marty has already given me $250, but it has cost me over 900 dollars more to have everything done again--and it's just bugs me that he still has 250 dollars of my money. He ruined evrything in my kitchen and he still gets to keep 250? I don't think so.
Like the bumper sticker says, "Mean People Suck." Well, people who take your money and then don;t do what they promise...no mattter what the excuse is--suck!!!!!!!!!!

Marty, the Hole, and Voting
Marty has come up with only 250 of the money and I have to get the courage to either call him, or sue him and ask for the rest of the money it has cost me to fix the hole. Either way, I am going to have to deal with him and I just want the entire situation to be done with. My friend's son has agreed to fix the hole, which means re-doing all of Marty's work--the uneven hole, the pilewood frame instead of 2by4's and re framing it and mudding it. Then he has to sand it down and paint it. All for the price of 700 dollars--two more than Marty's and now adding to my ever growing debt for the kitchen of my dreams. Since I don;t cook--I just want to watch TV while I am waiting for my tea kettle to boil--is that too much to ask?
Today, I woke up at 5:15 am, took my mother to the polls-so she could work them (picking her up at 8am) watched the morning news as my tea boiled and eat breakfast. Then, I packed up my work items, and headed out to vote. The best day of the year, as far as I am concerned. I can not imagine living in a country that I could not exercise my right to vote--it's the only exercise I get!
VOTE TODAY--and I'll let you complain about the outcome. Tell me you don't vote--then you 'have to be quiet until you do!
